Reviews
“The authors investigate the effects of the Global Financial Crisis of 2007-2009 on the efficiency of national innovation systems and discuss policy implications of the findings. This innovative, timely, and well-written study is highly relevant for several related courses in economics and business and indispensable for graduate students, academicians and policymakers.” (Ali M. Kutan, Distinguished Research Professor of Economics and Finance, Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, USA)
“This book clearly shows countries implementing policies on national systems for efficient innovation have performed more successfully than others with their smart selection of sectors to build innovative business clusters and umbrella networks in times of crises. The authors' innovative approach broadens perspectives of policy makers intending to create a new success story in today’s world which hasn't yet found its new normal after The Global Financial Crisis of 2007-2009.” (Ahmet Faruk Aysan, Board Member of The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey)
