This book examines how Japan has changed its economic relationship with East Asia since the mid 1990s by looking at its commitments to import relief, regional financial and industrial transformations, and regionalism. About the author

HIDETAKA YOSHIMATSU is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of East Asian Studies, Yamaguchi University, Japan. He received an M.A. from the University of Warwick and a Ph.D. from the Australian National University. He is the author of Internationalization, Corporate Preferences and Commercial Policy in Japan.
