About the authors
John Theodore is a trained barrister and was Director of the International Tourism Research and Consultancy Centre specialising in EU projects at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK, for 20 years. He has published in international law journals and formerly lectured in business and international law. He has also been a Visiting Professor at Warsaw University, Poland, where he was awarded the Senate Medal of Merit.
Jonathan Theodore studied at the University of Oxford and King’s College London, UK and has been a tutor in early European history at the latter. His first book, Cyprus and the Financial Crisis, was published by Palgrave in 2015 and his second, The Modern Cultural Myth of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, was published by Palgrave in 2016. He is a post-doctoral fellow at Kings College London, UK.
Dimitrios Syrrakos is a senior lecturer in economics at Manchester Metropolitan University's Business School, UK, with research interests and publications on fiscal and monetary policy and international monetary relations.
