Yos Santasombat is Professor of Anthropology, Department of Sociology and Anthropology, Chair of the Ph.D. Program in Social Sciences, Faculty of Social Sciences, Chiang Mai University, Thailand, and Senior Research Scholar at the Thailand Research Fund. He is the author of numerous books, including the Impact of China’s Rise on the Mekong Region (2015, Palgrave Macmillan).
