New site launched
We are pleased to announce that Acta Politica has a new submission system and is now using Editorial Manager. Our old submission system (EJP Press) will be kept active for papers that are currently already in the system (e.g. under review)
New submissions
If you are submitting for the first time, please ensure you submit to the new submission system.
Submissions currently being processed in the old submission system
For those submissions that are currently under review / awaiting decisions in the old system (EJP press), we will continue with your paper in this system, no action is required from authors. If you are invited to submit a revision, please submit your revision to the old site.
Please note that authors who submit to the old site will be required to resubmit to the new site. If you have any questions regarding this please contact Jessica Banning
Documents required
You will be required to submit two documents, containing the following elements:
1. Author Contact Details and Biography:
- the title of the article
- a short running title of no more than 40 characters (including spaces)
- the author(s)' names and affiliations
- a short biography of no more than 100 words for each author
- contact details for the corresponding author (including full postal and email addresses as well as telephone and fax numbers)
2. Article:
- the title of the article
- a summary or abstract of 150-200 words in length outlining the aims and subject matter
- 3-6 keywords that describe your paper - for indexing and abstracting services
- the article in full, including references
