Announcement of Ownership Transfer
Corporate Reputation Review (CRR) was launched by Reputation Institute (RI) in 1997. Its mission was to stimulate research and learning about the reputations of companies and institutions –their causes, consequences, and management. In 2005, RI partnered with Palgrave MacMillan to improve the quality and reach of the journal, and the partnership has been a key contributor to the success of the journal ever since.
We are pleased to announce that, in January 2020, Palgrave Macmillan, now a division of Springer Nature, agreed to acquire RI’s ownership stake in CRR and make it an integral part of its extensive family of academic publications. Under the new arrangement, Guido Berens of Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University will continue to serve as Editor-in-Chief of Corporate Reputation Review. Guido has been an important contributor to CRR over the years, both as author and editor, and we have no doubt that the journal will continue to grow in stature and reach under his guidance.
Corporate Reputation Review will continue to serve academics and practitioners in the field of corporate reputation by publishing high quality articles that address key questions of interest to both academics and practitioners that focus on the interplay between identity, brand, and reputation, and their effects on performance and value.
We extend our sincere thanks to the community of scholars and practitioners who have helped to build Corporate Reputation Review throughout its 24-year history, and look forward to continuing to work with its authors, reviewers and editorial board to grow the journal’s reach and contribution in the years ahead.

CRR selected for the Clarivate Analytics Emerging Sources Citation Index!
We are delighted to announce that Corporate Reputation Review will now be indexed in Clarivate Analytics Web of Science Core Collection, in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI).
This index, which launched in 2015, extends the publications discoverable in Clarivate Analytics’ Web of Science Core Collection to include high-quality, peer-reviewed publications in emerging research fields and of regional importance. CRR’s inclusion will mean greater discoverability for the journal and allows for real-time insight into the citation performance.
We would like to congratulate the editorial team on this fantastic news and thank them for all of their excellent work!
