The aim of The Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance is to provide a platform for rigorous and cutting-edge research in the field of the economics of risk and insurance. It seeks to advance understanding of the economic aspects of insurance, with a particular focus on its impact on individuals, businesses, society, and the broader economy.
This journal also intends to advance scientific knowledge of the insurance industry as well as stimulate dialogue among a worldwide readership of insurance academics and researchers, and their colleagues who work in the insurance industry and desire deeper insight into strategic options for their business sector.
The flagship publication of The Geneva Association since 1976, The Geneva Papers on Risk and Insurance often publishes single-focus special issues, which offer in-depth discussion of issues of current importance. These include such topics as cyber risks, new technologies, climate change, health and longevity, and microinsurance.
The journal welcomes empirical and practice-oriented research that contributes to a deeper comprehension of the economic dimensions of insurance. It encourages diversity in perspectives and methodologies to facilitate a comprehensive exploration of this vital field.
